Mrs. Eria of Rwenkubebe Kamwenge - Uganda was given three indigenous goats by Samaritan's Purse Livestock program in July, 2007. On first kidding in December, 2007 she got four kids and her flock raised to seven. Recently in mid August, 2008 her goats delivered six Boer cross-breed kids (picture Left); 3 female and 3 males.......each of her children has a kid now! She has sold one castrate from the first batch at Ush. 35,000 ($ 21) and added Ush. 15,000 to buy one other Doe.
She now has a flock of 13 Goats originating from 3 goats within a short period of time. She gives credit to Samaritan's Purse for giving her the three goats that started the flock she has now.
